Meta Tags

Hi, I am a novice! Be gentle.

I am setting up my site and want to put in the relevant keywords in the "Meta tags" area. Do I just type in the words or put them in quotation marks or some code etc.

I have put words in only and then tried a google search on some of these words but it does not take me to my site.

Would appreciate your views

Thanks

hi
Once you have created your website, through web builder click on edit website content then select the page you want to edit (e.g. homepage, news) just type the meta title, meta description, meta keywords and follow the on screen instruction you do not need to use gouts or any code. just separate the keywords by commas.

Hi Admin,

I did what you said. However when I google on the Meta words that I have entered, it is not picked up through gooogle so no one is directed to my site.

Would appreciate your ideas and help please

Meta tags are not that simple, it can take long period before your website will appear on search engine unless you pay to Google for ranking your website really high. have a look on the link below.
