Met Office website crashes in snowstorm!
08/02/07- The anticipated heavy snowfall in the UK caused the Met Office's website to close down temporarily. At 3.15pm on the 7 February the site stopped displaying pages due to the high number of people attempting to access it.
Asia and Africa catching up with rest of world in net usage
27/04/07 – The e-readiness rankings produced the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) have shown that Asian and African countries' net usage is catching up with that of the developed world's.
