Question - How do I access my account using FTP?

Answer

To gain access to your account via FTP you can either use our FTP Client included with your account or you can download a 3rd party FTP application. In some cases a third party application is better, as you can upload multiple files and folders at the same time. Our FTP application only allows you to upload 1 file at a time.

To gain access to our FTP go to http://ftpclient.pulsewebhosting.com/ You need to enter your username in the following format USERNAME@domainname.com and your password.

To download a 3rd party FTP application please go to http://www.smartftp.com/download/ Here you can download the 32bit or 64bit version and install it on your machine. The settings you will need are:

ftp login: ftp.yourdomainname.com

username: username@yourdomainname.com

password: XXXXXXXXXXX
