Question - How do I transfer my domain from my old hosting company to yours?

Answer

To transfer a domain name from another company to us is quite a simple process. As long as you have access to a domain admin control panel to manage your domains there are normally options for transferring domains. If you don't have a control panel for your domain, you should have some contact details who you can email to make the request.

No matter what type of domain you are transferring (.co.uk, .net. com etc) you need to go through the Pulse web site and place to order for the domain. It will show up as unavailable and will cost nothing, but doing this will make your domain ready for the import into our system. For all .uk (.co.uk. .me.uk etc) domains you need to change the IPS TAG to NETLINEUK and this is all you need to do.

For all other domains you need to get an 'Auth code' from your current registrar. Once you have this Auth code you need to send it to support@pulsewebhosting.com with your account details and we will action the import.
